City Council (DPRD) Commission B Chairman, Tubagus Arief expressed food hoarding is more likely to bloom ahead of Ramadhan. Because of that, there must be extra supervision, particularly for BUMDs in charge of food.

He assessed it is not only harming people but also small peddlers.
"Food price is getting expensive due to limited stock. That's why there must be extra supervision," he asserted.
He asserted price hike on food approaching Ramadhan must be managed, considering the public demand will be higher.
"The government must act to maintain stock and stability of food," he disclosed.
